Join us in Berlin in the spring of 2024 to see Wagner’s Der Ring Des Nibelungen at the Berlin State Opera. Produced by the Dimitri Tcherniakov and conducted by Philippe Jordan, the Ring also stars many of today’s leading Wagnerian singers, including Tomasz Konieczny as Wotan/The Wanderer and Andreas Schager as Siegfried. Also included in our 2024 tour is a performance of Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 8 by the Berlin Staatskapelle conducted by Zubin Mehta.
We will be staying at the 5-Star Adlon Hotel in Berlin, just steps away from the Brandenburg Gate. In addition to the performances at the Berlin Staatsoper and Berlin Philharmonie, we will tour various historical landmarks and galleries, including Museum Insel, Charlottenburg Castle, etc. and take you on selected gourmet meals around the city.

ITINERARY
Tuesday, March 26th
Upon arrival at the 5-Star Adlon Hotel in Berlin, we meet at the hotel lobby for introductions and stroll to it’s Adlon Quarre Dining Room for our Welcome Dinner with wine.
Wednesday, March 27th
After buffet breakfast at The Adlon (included daily), we meet our guide and board our coach to tour Berlin’s Jewish Quarter to tour The Old Synagogue in Prenzlauzer Berg and the Jewish Museum. In the evening, we board our coach for a short drive to the Berlin Staatsoper to attend DAS RHEINGOLD.
Thursday, March 28th
On the agenda today we explore West Berlin– we will board our coach and drive on the Kurfürstendamm where we will pass by the “Blue Church” and Geddächtniskirche. We will then tour the Charlottenburg Castle and see the Berlin Reichstag, and then stop for lunch at its top terrace gourmet Kafer restaurant. After lunch, we visit the Cupola Dom before heading back to the Adlon. In the evening, we once again take a short drive to the Berlin Staatsoper to attend DIE WALKÜRE.
Friday, March 29th
After touring West Berlin the day before, this day will be for East Berlin. We will visit various important landmarks such as “Check Point Charlie,” the Russian Embassy and the Berliner Dom. We drive to the Berlin Philharmonie later that evening to attend the STAATSKAPELLE FESTIVAL.
Saturday, March 30th
This morning we head to Museuminsel to view various works of art inside the five different museums before lunch at traditional Berlin art deco restaurant Noelle. In the evening we board our coach to the Berlin Staatsoper to attend SIEGFRIED.
Sunday, March 31st
The morning is free spend at leisure and pre-pack for the trip home tomorrow. In the evening we will meet at the Adlon lobby and drive to Chiaro restaurant for our Farewell Dinner. After dinner, we return to the Adlon.
Monday, April 1st
We have the morning to enjoy at leisure again. In the evening, we meet at the hotel lobby and board our coach to the Berlin Staatsoper to attend GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG.
Tuesday, April 2nd
Transfers to the Brandenburg airport can be arranged.
